Rhonda Higgins
Founder & Program Director
IB MYP Coordinator & IB Spanish Teacher
Rhonda Higgins is the Founder and Program Director of Future Linguists, LLC. With over 22 years of experience as a Spanish language educator and teacher leader in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System (WSFCS), she is passionate about helping students connect with the world through language and culture. Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Romance Languages & Literature (Spanish) from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from American InterContinental University.
Inspired by her extensive career in education and her belief in the power of language learning, Rhonda has taken a leap of faith to develop a language immersion program, beginning with the "Into the Linguaverse" Summer Camp 2024.
Kendyll Orange- Kendyll is a junior in WSFCS. She loves helping students of all ability levels achieve their best academically and socially and emotionally. She has also matriculated through one of WSFCS dual immersion programs (Spanish/English) and hopes to continue her Spanish language abilities during summer camp while building leadership skills.
Diana Barbosa- Ms. Barbosa is a bilingual Spanish/English transition coordinator for WSFCS. She is a native Spanish speaker and seeks to share her Mexican heritage with our future linguists while assisting the team.
Young children have lively minds from the start. We strive to make the most of this natural quality by enabling them to experience, investigate, care about others, interact, develop and create. We strive to deepen and strengthen children’s natural abilities by providing them with the healthiest environment possible.
